The New Room is an award-winning heritage attraction nestled in Bristol's city centre and welcomes visitors from across the world to an 'oasis of calm' in the busy shopping quarter of Broadmead.  We are a small, supportive and enthusiastic staff team delivering a wide range of events, activities and services to ensure a fantastic visitor experience.

Marketing and Communications Officer

Salary: £25,000 per annum pro rata based on 40 hour week
Hours: Part-time, 16 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

We're looking for a creative strategic marketing and communications officer with a keen eye for detail to help us share our story, activities and events with a local, national and international audience, and to position John Wesley’s New Room as a key Bristol Destination, growing our audience and raising brand awareness across the City and beyond.

Finance Officer

Salary: £30,000 per annum pro rata based on 40 hour week

We're looking for an experienced AAT qualified or part qualified ICAEW, ACCA or CIMA professional to manage the financial operations, accounting and reporting requirements of John Wesley's New Room.

Café General Assistant

Salary: £10 per hour
Hours: 10 hours per week minimum, plus others when available
Contract: Permanent

Join our small friendly catering team to assist with day-to-day running of the café, including customer service, operating tills, preparing and serving food and drinks, cleaning, and ensuring food hygiene regulations are followed.

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and flexible team player with a 'can-do' attitude.  Previous café experience desirable but not essential - we're looking for someone who is willing to learn.  Full on-the-job training provided.
