Anne was a Mission Partner with the Methodist Church in Britain from 2018-2020. One of the wonderful and inspiring aspects of her story is that she was in her mid 70’s when she went out to Sri Lanka. Anne worked at the Theological College of Lanka teaching English and helping in the library. In addition to formal lectures she undertook various work with individual students, spouses and children on the campus.

Through contacts at the college Anne became aware of various projects and was able to support grant applications to MWiB in work that was being undertaken to empower women.
