Reflect Conference and AGM featuring President of Conference Rev Michaela Youngson

The President of the Methodist Conference, Rev Michaela Youngson, will be giving the keynote address at the Reflect (Methodist Spirituality) Conference at the New Room on Saturday, October 20.

The theme of the day is “God’s Inconvenient Grace’. the conference is free but you do need to book by emailing Gill Dascombe from Reflect  – gilldascombe@hotmail.com

Outline of the Day:

10-10.30am Arrivals and Coffee

10.30am – Welcome and Devotions in the Chapel

10.45am – Keynote Address: Rev Michaela Youngson – God’s Inconvenient Grace (followed by plenary and questions)

12 – 12.45am Lunch (cafe lunches available or bring a packed lunch)

12.45 – 2.45pm Choice of workshops

  • visit the Museum at the New Room (special discount entry of £2.50)
  • Grace and Dementia
  • Grace, Slavery and Abolition (all one hour, repeated each hour)
  • A ‘Wesley in Bristol’ walk – 1.5 hours (not repeated)

2.45pm Tea available in the Horsefair Room

3.15pm Plenary and Closing Prayers
