Our new creative work exhibition: Connexions
Celebrating stories and creative work from the team collaborating on the Bristol Reach In and Reach Out (RIRO) project.
Have you ever heard of RIRO? RIRO is an arts and wellbeing initiative co-produced by John Wesley’s New Room, creativeShift and young people aged 16-24.
The project is for young people who may be more vulnerable after the pandemic. By exploring links between creativity, wellbeing, community engagement and volunteering, we aim to boost their confidence and skills.
Each piece in the exhibition is unique and is inspired by an existing artefact or story from the museum.
Visit our young talents’ creativities including collage, clay, and banners!

Visit Our Museum and Learn More About Wesley Brothers and Bristol!
The Museum at the New Room tells the story of John and Charles Wesley and eighteenth-century Methodism and its relevance today.
The museum is housed in the rooms that were originally constructed in 1748 to accommodate the Wesleys and the early Methodist preachers. As part of your visit you will see John Wesley’s study and bedroom, as well as the main parlour for the preachers.
