This half term join a tour-guide who will bring to life Bristol’s best kept secret museum in a brand new way. Filled with character and style, these tours are suitable for young people over the age of 12, and younger members of the family can enjoy a children’s trail at the same time.

Get up close to some of our most interesting and popular museum items in our handling sessions, where you’ll be able to look closely at, touch, and ask questions about items which helped to shape Bristol’s story.

John Wesley's New Room

John Wesley’s New Room is a heritage site in the heart of Bristol. It houses a museum, library, café, events and hire space. It is home to the original 18th century chapel that started the Methodist movement.

It also houses an award-winning Café and a vast reference Library. John Wesley’s New Room hosts a range of art, music and family events and is also available to hire.
