Singing and Stories Workshop: Empowering You!

Singing is a joyful group activity, it does wonders for our well-being and has been used
throughout history – to come together, to celebrate, and to tell stories.

John Wesley’s New Room are bringing together stories and songs this summer to celebrate
the theme of empowering the individual. The workshop will be led by our Community Choir
leaders and registered Music Therapists.

The session offers a chance to look back in time and explore historical objects that document accounts of people who have been inspired to make a difference in their own unique way. We’ll pair their story with a song. Come away motivated to make a difference in your own community.

Wednesday 9 August, 11.30am – 1pm
