Easter Explorer Day (CANCELLED)

Creative activities are on offer in the Museum at the New Room during the Easter holidays.

April 7, 8 and 9: Bristol Makes It! Weaving, making clay pots and creating sailing boats, plus Georgian dress up and making Easter cards.

April 14, 15 and 16: Make Your Mark! Find out about printing in Bristol and try your hand at stencilling, foam printing and making your own newspaper.

Each activity day runs on a drop-in basis from 10.30am – 3pm. Suitable for all ages.

Normal museum entry prices apply. (One adult and up to three children £10, two adults and up to three children £15) A family ticket includes free return entry to the museum for 12 months.

Cafe, toilets and baby change available on site.

 

 

John Wesley's New Room

John Wesley’s New Room is a heritage site in the heart of Bristol. It houses a museum, library, café, events and hire space. It is home to the original 18th century chapel that started the Methodist movement.

It also houses an award-winning Café and a vast reference Library. John Wesley’s New Room hosts a range of art, music and family events and is also available to hire.
