Statement on coronavirus from John Wesley’s New Room
The New Room, including the chapel, museum, café, library & archive, and Horsefair Room, is fully reopen to visitors.
Our opening times for the whole site are Monday-Saturday, 10am-4pm with access available through both the Horsefair and Broadmead entrances.
Please be advised that, with effect from today, we have further eased the measures that we have in place across the site in respect of COVID.
The following remain in place;
- Hand sanitiser stations across the site
- Signage emcoraging people to social distance and to be respectful of others
Please note that the wearing of face coverings on site is now optional
In order to manage social distancing around the museum, we are encouraging visitors to reserve a timed entry slot which can be paid for at our Welcome Desk on arrival. You can book your Museum time slot here.
Like many other charities, museums and cultural venues across the UK, our income stream has been severely affected by the pandemic and so we need your support now more than ever. If you are able to, please consider donating towards the work of John Wesley’s New Room through PayPal here.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
