Welcome to Charles Wesley’s House, 4 Charles Street, Bristol

The Music Room

Before things like radio, television and X-Boxes it was music that provided family entertainment. In the evenings families would come together to listen to each other play instruments or to make music together. Charles Wesley played the flute and his wife Sally played the harpsichord, guitar and was a singer too. Their two sons were accomplished musicians from an early age.
