Organise a Group Visit

Group Visits to The New Room/John Wesley’s Chapel & Charles Wesley’s House

An experienced guide will talk to you in the chapel and explain the significance of the New Room as the oldest Methodist building in the world and the work begun by John Wesley in Bristol. You are also welcome to visit the Preachers’ Rooms upstairs in the MLA accredited museum. Stewards will also be available to answer any questions that you may have.

Please book group visits by telephone, e-mail or in writing to the Manager, allowing at least one month’s notice for confirmation of agreed date for visits to Charles Wesley’s House, or two weeks for visits of the New Room alone.

For group visits, there is a minimum group size of 15.
