The Haunting

Methodist historian Gary Best talks about the haunting of the Wesley family home and the story of the eighteenth-century exorcism of George Lukins at Temple Church in Bristol, followed by a look around the museum at the New Room in which he explains how it was created with Bristol design company Cod Steaks and how the museum explores various issues in 18th century Bristol that are still relevant today. (The talk will be 45 minutes with questions, following by a tour of the museum).
